ACCEPTANCE: MIDWAY JOURNAL

My poem “Endemic” has been published in the Volume 17, Issue 3 of The Midway Journal in July of 2023.

This is a Spanglish poem that explores the shame of not retaining cultural traditions, even if it’s outside of your control. But culture isn’t cut and dry— isn’t knowing or not knowing. It’s a bit messy, and there’s beauty in that.
